    • The steam at high pressure is directed to the condenser. Here, the vapor is converted into a liquid by expelling heat. The condenser is usually cooled by air or water.
  4. Expansion

    • As the liquid refrigerant passes through the expansion valve, its pressure drops. This reduces the temperature of the liquid, which then returns to the evaporator.

This cycle is repeated continuously, ensuring that the desired temperature level is maintained.
